In February, the chaplain team of the Separate Unit of the First Ukrainian Battalion of Military Chaplains carried out another rotation in a military hospital — to stand beside those who had just returned from the frontlines: wounded, exhausted, yet unbroken.
Each day, our chaplains greeted the soldiers with hot drinks — coffee and tea, offered words of encouragement and prayer, and brought warmth — not only in the form of essential clothing, undergarments, and hygiene supplies, but also through genuine conversation, care, and a comforting smile.
In quiet moments, we watched films together, sang songs, and spoke about life, faith, and victory. Every morning and evening began and ended with prayer for the warriors — for their healing, their families, and renewed strength and hope in their hearts.
This hospital rotation was a powerful reminder: ministry means presence. In simple things. In simply being near.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports this mission. Because of you, we can be there — where it hurts. And bring light into that place.
