Hospital Mission: Bringing Comfort and Care to the Frontlines

Recently, two chaplain teams were deployed simultaneously to two different military field hospitals. It was a demanding trip, with chaplains tirelessly serving from 8:00 AM until 10:00 or even 11:00 PM — offering prayer, encouragement, listening ears, and the ministry of presence. Sometimes just being there is the most powerful act of care.

We never go empty-handed. Each trip requires purchasing clothing, food supplies for sandwiches, cookies, tea, coffee, milk, hygiene items, and disposable tableware — everything needed to create a moment of peace in a war zone. One of the biggest expenses is fuel, as reaching these locations takes time and endurance, but we remain committed.

One of the highlights of our visits is the coffee. We bring along a professional coffee machine, allowing us to prepare real “restaurant-quality” coffee with milk. For soldiers recovering from surgeries or returning from combat, that cup of coffee becomes more than just a drink — it’s a moment of dignity, warmth, and hope.

Each trip costs us around 50,000 UAH (approx. 1,200–1,300 USD), covering supplies, logistics, and technical needs. We’re deeply thankful to everyone who supports us through prayer, donations, or by sharing this mission with others.

This is more than help.
This is ministry.
This is love in action.
