The Opora Veterans Hub is a place of support, restoration, and community for veterans, active-duty military personnel, military families, and the families of fallen or missing service members.
Founded in 2025 in Rakhiv, Zakarpattia region, the hub was created to provide a safe and welcoming environment where people can find encouragement, build meaningful relationships, access professional support, and realize they are not alone in their challenges.
At Opora, we regularly host support groups, educational events, meetings with psychologists and other specialists, individual consultations, and activities for veterans, spouses, children, and families affected by war.
The hub is a natural extension of the long-term ministry of our chaplaincy team and volunteers, who have been serving military personnel, veterans, and their families throughout Ukraine. In addition to the work carried out at the hub, our team organizes restoration programs such as Heart of the Family, Heart of the Warrior, Heart of the Woman, and Heart of the Child, helping participants find healing, strength, and hope for the future.
Opora is more than a facility—it is a community where people can receive support, build new friendships, restore emotional and spiritual strength, and take meaningful steps toward a renewed life.
